I was going through some of the things I got from my father, W9AVQ, and I came across this License Manual (from 1939) and I thought some might enjoy seeing the difference between licensing now, and how it was back then. So, I scanned it and did the conversion to HTML so I could post it on my web page. Therefore, for your perusal, I present:

Mind you, the question pool wasn't published. This was your study guide and, although I'm not positive, I think it was a "fill in the blank" test. For example, see question 162 for the "Class A" license. I wonder how mwny of us could even READ this schematic, much less freehand it from memory?
